Rest in Peace Derek you will be remembered...

Well sorry it has been a little while since I have posted I have been SWAMPED with school. Well today was a VERY sad day for me I just found out about one of my really good friends from high school that passed away last night. He had been sick for a few days with the flu and it was getting worse so they took him into the hospital and he passed away last night from the flu. All that I can really say is God obviously had a very special plan for him to take him from this world this early on in life. I am very very grateful for the plan of salvation and I can say I have had to reflect very seriously about it and remember my testimony of the church and what it has done for me in my life. I am so grateful for it and would currently be lost right now if I did not have it, since I have lost two friends this semester alone in school. Rest in Peace Derek you will be missed by very many people and will be remembered for your heart of gold and friendship.

Well it has been a complicated little while. I was playing with ektelon racquets last year and they were giving me tendinitis in my elbow and so I started playing with a head racquet over the summer. Well I had this chance to get sponsored by ektelon so without thinking I took it (dumb of me). Sure enough a couple weeks after I started playing with them my elbow pain came back so I said forget it I am not going to play with them anymore. So I picked up a new company called ProKennex and I love them they are amazing they are working wonders for me and my elbow pain yeah!!! I have state doubles next week so I will keep you all posted on how I did and try to post some pictures and video it or something.

This picture was taken last summer while I was playing outdoor racquetball about 2 months after the collegiate nationals in Kansas City. It was a ton of fun. This was my first time playing outdoor racquetball.
